So we previously mentioned how UK internet surfers lacked the ability to use Google Street View enabled maps. Well no more! Today Google turned on the service which has allowed users a virtual tour around norwich.
Whilst you would think people would be quick to embrace this incredibly clever and useful tool, the response worldwide has been mixed..
Whilst these maps may infringe on security, the ICO (information commissioner's office) states that your face, business name or vehicle licence plate isn't by itself, personal information. Because of this, Google has as much right to take these photos as a man in the street with a polaroid..
I Need A Nerd applaud Google for providing this service, they chose a beautiful sunny day to snap Norwich looking its sharpest. Here are some highlights that we found:
